The Inner Life of a Cell

The Inner Life of a Cell (extract)

The Inner Life of a Cell, is an eight-minute animation created in 2006 by Harvard University and XVIVO. It follows a white blood cell’s movement along the endothelium and its response to an external stimulus. The animation is mesmerising and instantly made me think of the Julia Kristeva quote I posted about before – on the limit of life. I wish we had animations like this when learning about proteins in school.
